Authorized Person Status Certificate (OKSB) is a document granted to individuals and legal entities that are resident in the Turkish Customs Territory, have been actively operating for at least two years, and meet the conditions specified in the legislation to benefit from simplifications and facilitations in customs procedures.
After the applicant signs a contract with YGM, YGM examines whether the company meets the application conditions. If the conditions are met, a report is issued. The application is then submitted to the relevant Regional Directorate of Customs and Trade where the company’s headquarters are located. The Regional Directorate evaluates the application, checks compliance with the conditions, and if they are met, issues the OKSB.
Declaration with Missing Documents: Allows the declaration of invoices, freight, insurance policies, ATR and origin certificates, and processed agricultural product analysis reports without submitting them. These documents can be submitted within one month of the customs declaration registration date.
Partial Guarantee Application: For goods subject to the customs warehouse, inward processing under customs control, and temporary importation regimes, the required guarantee is taken at a reduced rate (10% of customs duties).
Comprehensive Guarantee: Allows a fixed guarantee amount to be used for one year instead of submitting a separate guarantee for each customs transaction.
Blue Line Application: In export declarations with the 1000 regime code, transactions are carried out without document control or inspection.
Authorized Exporter Privilege: Enables the simplified issuance of an A.TR document without requiring approval from TOBB or customs administrations.
If you are a medium-sized and growing exporter, you can benefit from OKSB first. Since OKSB holders reduce costs and accelerate operational processes in export procedures, it is a preferred certification. Moreover, the application process is not complex, accessible, and cost-effective.
